HTML formatter guide
What is an HTML formatter?
It adds consistent indentation and line breaks so nested markup is easier to read. Beautifier and formatter usually mean the same thing.
Formatting and minifying
Format expands markup for review; minify removes safe whitespace for a smaller file. This minifier is intentionally conservative around scripts, styles, preformatted text, and text content.
Common issues
Unclosed tags, mixed indentation, long attribute lists, and inline text can make HTML hard to inspect. Formatting helps reveal structure but is not standards validation.
Private by design
Your HTML is processed locally in this browser and is never uploaded to TechFixGen.
HTML formatter FAQ
Does formatting change behavior?
It preserves tag and attribute text and treats whitespace-sensitive blocks conservatively, but you should test whitespace-dependent templates.
Does it validate HTML?
No. It formats markup and does not claim standards validation.
Are script and style blocks supported?
Yes. Their contents are kept opaque rather than parsed as HTML.
Is my HTML uploaded?
No. Processing, copying, and file creation happen in your browser.
